Happy Birthday Calvin is giving back this Holiday season with his new single “Still Did It”

With trap music currently mandating the Hip Hop scene, emerging Chicago artist, Happy Birthday Calvin took a different route with his newest body of work “Still Did It (4th of July).” The self-produced single is a soulful, celebratory tune where he talks about his current climb to fame, in which doubters told him he would never get there but he Still Did It. “I wanted to bring a vibe that families could elaborate and love each other too. Music has been so violent lately” Happy Birthday Calvin says. “My goal for the track was for it to be a holiday track so it had to feel warm and familiar.”
The Chicago kid might be new to the game but he’s already making noise. This past summer, his track “Kari’s Song (Long Way Home) ft. Tati” from the Netflix’s film ‘BEATS’ got some major buzz. Not to mention, Happy Birthday Calvin’s Ep “No Friends” blew up over night and landed him a major feature from the Chicago rapper, G Herbo on the ‘No Friends’ remix.
