Kash turns heads with her hard hitting single "Ego"
A certified womens anthem
With movements such as #MeToo and #TimesUp, the current social climate is finally making men own up to their bigotry. Kash, the New York based musician, has emerged as a face for this empowered mission, which was evidenced by her being given the opportunity to sing at the inaugural Women's March in NYC in front of over 400,000. With her latest single "Ego", she strikes back against the notion that women should not be in complete control of their sexuality.
The women's anthem combines edgy pop production from producer Perry Longo with some hard hitting lyrics by Kash and her collaborator Misspstar. "Ego" cements Kash as a champion for women everywhere with lines like "Buying me a drink doesn't appease me/Baby it's the way that you treat me."
