CREATIVE MINDS COLLIDEA certain chemistry is necessary to successfully collaborate and create some fire in the studio. This chemistry can't be faked and when done right, the result is nothing short of magic. For Pat and Keishh, the vibes came natural, and the result is a self produced EP that they are now sharing with the world. Camp Mars is a head turning project from the two NYC/NJ artist who consider each other best friends. After taking a listen to their collaboration, it ain't hard to tell. Read up below:
1. How did you guys link up and begin collaborating together?
We both were just jamming to each others music, and were just really into one another’s vibes so we set up a session to jam out and just really clicked. After experimenting with many different sounds we made our first track “SUNDAZE” which randomly got featured on Red Bull radio and that shit made us really excited. From there we became close friends and decided to invest in our own studio which allowed us to record, produce, and mix our own music whenever we want.

2. What sound were you going for with your latest EP? What was the inspiration behind it?
We wanted to sonically depict an acid trip we wanted to make a project that incorporates a bit of us both PAT is super into camping and planets so it was a super random moment where the idea of making the project feel like a trip and represent all the emotions that she felt this summer was really important, she wanted it to feel as if everything she felt whether it was happy thoughts or sad thoughts or just being lit was put into a track and it be a bit of all the feelings at once.

3. What are your longterm aspirations as artists?
We just want to catch a vibe and continue to create music that we feel is our mood at the time, we never want to be put in a box we just want to feel a type of way and create based on our experiences and our feelings about life at the moment.
