Scion Rae makes up for the rays emitted by the instrumental by shining with natural flow mastery and a pen game that makes his work more than worthwhile. He takes a few shots at the industry but it’s rare for a newcomer to rightfully do so – his skills seem way ahead of his status. The rap game being at a crossroad where a lot of the icons are taking a stand for hip-hop is in dire need of young talent. He delivers not only that, but a solution to the problem in diversification. 
The song targets both lyrical aficionados and those looking for music with a chill hip-hop or trip-hop beat. His lyricism and wordplay are dense, but they don’t take anything away from the fact this track could make anyone’s list of vibes to listen to while focusing on something else.
