Paris Price delivers a must listen EP in “In The Meantime”
The DMV rapper has something to say
With Co-Signs from household names like Chris Brown, Ari Lennox and Lupe Fiasco, Paris Price has solidified his status on the shortlist of top artists out of the DMV. This originally became clear to us in various explosive freestyles that he'd deliver on platforms like Sway's Universe. While Paris has given the culture great moments leading up to this project, “In The Meantime” is in our opinion some of his best work. In the 5 song EP, Paris Price gives the audience a layered portrait of who he is, while collaborating with some other names buzzing out of the DMV.https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzu19_hLeADzpNmzGZWEEtr9joJJvu2FBThough he's already proved an ability to go bar for bar with anyone, Paris Price picks his spots on the project, flowing flawlessly on great production throughout. Standout moments include the absolute banger "Misunderstood", featuring Kembe X. On a captivating beat, Paris raps like he has something to prove. He leaves us with Flowers/Drowning, complete with shape shifting production in which Paris Price spits bars about both his vulnerability and stamina with equal vigor. With a mixture of melodic flows, hard hitting bars and an ear for good production, Paris Price gave us an excellent project in "In the Meantime". Being one of the brightest stars in his city is a tough crown to carry, but something tells us he's up for the task.
