CollegeBoyTrey takes over the summer with his hit "Manzana"

The CT artist drops a dancehall infused jam

Every summer needs an anthem to get the  vibe right and the party jumping. This year, CT artist CollegeBoyTrey took matters into his own hands by dropping his infectious hit “Manzana”. The track takes us to the islands as he floats on an excellent beat selection, produced by CERTIBEATS. “My thought process going into Manzana was to have fun,” CollegeBoyTrey says. “I've always wanted to make a dancehall type of style song, and the beat felt like the best one to have fun on.”

“I've always wanted to make a dancehall type of style song, and the beat felt like the best one to have fun on.”

CollegeBoyTrey is a unique talent out of New Haven Connecticut, a city that shaped a lot of the values he now lives by. It also taught him to view life from a different perspective than most. “Unlike other cities, no one will support you unless you're already big, so it taught me to be selfish,” He says. Make no mistake though, CollegeBoyTrey is all about helping his fellow man, and with his latest track he gives us all what the summer’s been missing, a relaxing good hearted banger. The best part is, that while the listeners of Manzana are bound to have a good time, CollegeBoyTrey got the same excited from making it. “There's nothing more rewarding than knowing that I have fun making music,” He says. We’ll be on the look out for more vibes from Connecticut’s rising star going forward but for now, check Manzana out below.
